Collection System Worker

Hourly pay range: $20.13 - $24.53

The City of Tacoma is recruiting for Collection System Workers for the Public Works Wastewater Treatment Plant Division.  Collection System Workers perform a wide variety of labor intensive and semi-skilled tasks primarily on private property.  Work involves inspection, construction and modification to structures associated with the sanitary sewer collection system.  This position requires the ability to work in a confined space and to respond to after-hours service calls. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • One year of experience performing heavy manual labor in the construction trades including working outdoors and as a member of a crew
